The Kwun Tong Line and the Tseung Kwan O Line stop there . It is the only station on the Tseung Kwan O Line in Kowloon. The station's identification color is yellow. Although the platforms are above ground, they are separated from the surrounding area by concrete walls to keep the noise of trains away from residents of the nearby Yau Tong Estate .

The station was built to allow passengers to transfer between the two lines. It opened on August 4, 2002. The new station extends the travel time of trains on the Kwun Tong Line by four minutes.
