Kwun Tong Line
The Kwun Tong Line ( Chinese 觀塘 綫 / 观塘 线 , Pinyin Guāntáng Xiàn , Jyutping Gun 1 tong 4 Sin 3 ) is one of the eleven lines of the MTR network in Hong Kong .
It begins at Hung Hom in West Kowloon and ends at Tiu Keng Leng in Tseung Kwan O ( Sai Kung District ). It is green on the MTR card. During the morning rush hour, 27 trains are in use on the Kwun Tong Line and run every 2.1 minutes. The line currently has 17 stations that can be passed through in 31 minutes.
It was the first line of the MTR system.
