Railway station car

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Station wagons were - especially for the Deutsche Bundesbahn - railway wagons , generally decommissioned passenger or freight wagons that were no longer subject to the railway building and operating regulations . They were no longer allowed to be used in public transport trains and could only be used within a train station for internal purposes. They often served as fixed storage or lounge rooms, and occasionally they were moved within the train station for transport. Today they are only very rarely found.
