The Bühlertalbahn was a 5.9 kilometer long private railway branch line that led from Bühl to Bühlertal- Obertal.
history
It was opened on December 28, 1896 for freight traffic and on January 27, 1897 for passenger traffic. It was initially built and operated by the West German Railway Company , which was part of the Lenz Group. In 1898 it was transferred to the Badische Lokal-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (BLEAG).
The Deutsche Eisenbahn-Betriebsgesellschaft (DEBG), which had been the owner and operator since January 1, 1932, shut down passenger traffic on December 31, 1956. With the cessation of low freight traffic on August 31 or September 15, 1958, the end of the Bühlertal Railway had come.
The route is completely dismantled today.
