The Don Mueang – U-Tapao railway is a planned high-speed line in Thailand .

The route is to be built between the two Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports near Bangkok on the one hand and U-Tapao airport near the tourist center of Pattaya on the other. It will be 220 km long and should be driven at 250 km / h. It would be the first high-speed line in Thailand.

The project is designed as a public private partnership . The private partner is a consortium led by Charoen Pokphand . The concession has a term of 50 years. The costs are put at 6.7 billion euros . The construction of which is China Railway Construction involved.
The completion of the railway line is planned for 2023 .
