Baijiantan

Baijiantan ( Chinese  白碱滩区 , Pinyin Báijiǎntān Qū ; Uighur جەرەنبۇلاق رايونى, Jərənbulaⱪ Rayoni ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Karamay in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . The administrative area of ​​the city district has an area of ​​1,272.38 km² and has around 60,000 inhabitants (2004).

Administrative structure

At the municipality level, Baijiantan is made up of two street districts. These are:

• Sanpinglu street district (三 平 路 街道);
• Zhongxinglu (中兴 路 街道) street district .
