The Bavarian homestead was used for the joint state exhibition in 1988 by Bavaria ( Bavarian State Exhibition in Rosenheim ) and the State of Salzburg ( Salzburg State Exhibition in Mattsee) Die Bajuwaren. The homestead comprises seven buildings. A nature and culture workshop has been set up in the main building. The "Werkladn" is located in another building as a sales room for homemade, regional, handcrafted products. The smallest building is an oven. In front of the huts are raised beds made of wickerwork. Sheep are kept in the facility from October to June.
