Bakke bru

The bru Bakke is a suspension bridge over the river Sira in the municipality of Flekkefjord in Agder , Norway .

The bridge was built in 1844 and listed as a historical monument in 1959 . The span of the bridge is 53.5 m and it is 4.35 m wide. The bridge has been changed several times since it was built and was last renovated in 1993. After it was no longer suitable for traffic, a new bridge was built. As early as the 1950s, bus passengers had to cross the bridge on foot due to insufficient loading capacity.

Bakke bru is the end of the old post route from Moi via Tronåsen to Sira .
