Ballaios
Ballaios or Ballai ruled as Illyrian king middle of the 2nd century BC. (To 168 v. Chr.) In Rhizon .
It is best known for its coinage; there are still no literary and historical sources about it. He minted his own silver coins, but these are rare. His bronze coins are found in Hvar (without the royal title) , both as individual and hoard finds. In Rhizon there is another series of bronze coins from Ballaios with a royal title, while only bronze coins of the city itself are known. Counterfeits of these coins, which are often difficult to distinguish, are also common in the region.
