Ballyroney Castle
Ballyroney Castle ( Irish Caisleán Bhaile Uí Ruanaí ) was a castle in the village of Ballyroney in County Down, Northern Ireland . It originated as a moth sometime in the 12th century and was then built in stone in 1248 by John FitzGeoffrey , Lord Chief Justice of Ireland .
