The Balmangan Tower is the ruin of a residential tower near Borgue in the Scottish administrative unit Dumfries and Galloway .

The floor plan of the quarry stone tower is rectangular. A spiral staircase in the northeast corner leads into the vaulted cellar . The front door is on the east side; on the south side there is a later walled entrance gate for cars.

The tower dates from the 16th century. Today the remains serve as storage cellars for the adjacent farmhouse. Historic Scotland has listed the ruin as a Category B Historic Building .
