Bamboo Engineering is a British motorsport team .

history

Bamboo Engineering was founded in July 2009 by Richard Coleman after he left Tempus Sport. Coleman and Julien Tanser, owners of Tempus Sport, had a number of disagreements about the technical, operational and financial structure of the team. Tempus driver Harry Vaulkhard also switched to Bamboo Engineering . Bamboo Engineering's first race was on August 2, 2009, at the British Touring Car Championship races in Snetterton. The 2009 season ended with Vaulkhard with 22 points in 16th place in the drivers' standings and with six points in twelfth place in the team standings.

For the 2010 season, Bamboo Engineering dared to step from the British Touring Car Championship to the World Touring Car Championship . Harry Vaulkhard and Darryl O'Young are used as drivers of the two Chevrolet Lacetti . Both drivers were competitive from the start. Vauklhard scored his first world championship point at the fifth run in Monza.
