Banco (novel)

Banco is the second novel by the French writer Henri Charrière , who was sentenced to life in forced labor in French Guiana for manslaughter . In the book, which combines autobiographical elements, historical facts and fiction, he describes the time after his release. The book is thus the continuation of his first novel Papillon .
