The Banco GNB Sudameris is a Colombian bank headquartered in Bogotá . It was founded under the name Banco Sudameris Colombia SA as a commercial bank in 1920 and merged in 2005 with the Peruvian Banco Tequendama to form Banco GNB Sudameris. Banco GNB Sudameris SA is a subsidiary of Gilex Holding BV.

GNB Sudameris is the financial arm of the Colombian Gilinski Group , one of the main players in the local banking industry. It began operations in 1920, but its current structure is the result of the merger between Banco Sudameris Colombia and Banco Tequendama, acquired by Credicorp in 2004. Since then, the bank has increased its presence through the acquisition of local companies Suma Valores (2008) and Nacional de Valores (2010). Later, in 2013, it gained control of HSBC's operations in Paraguay and Peru , giving the bank an international presence. A year later it acquired HSBC Colombia and combined its activities under the GNB Sudameris brand.

Based in Bogotá, GNB Sudameris now focuses on commercial and personal banking. GNB Sudameris offers banking services, mainly in Colombia, Paraguay and Peru. It offers savings and checking accounts, investment products, credit and debit cards, consumer loans and revolving loans, as well as travel and life insurance products and foreign exchange transactions.
