bandWG is an Austrian rock band from Michelhausen , which became famous in the summer of 2008 with the song Emergency Parachute. The members are Mia Koller (vocals), Bern Wagner (vocals, guitar) and Markus Weiß (bass).
The group is a shared flat that initially consisted of just one person. 'bandWG' has been around since August 2005. Since then the band has played as the opening act for Silbermond , Juli u. a.
In autumn 2010 the bandWG was nominated for the Austrian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 , but could not land in the top three with its title 10 seconds of luck .
