The Banded Bluff (English for Banded Cliff ) is a 6.5 km long and striking cliff in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains it rises 5 km southeast of the McKinley Nunatak and forms the east face of the Liv Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1965 after the banding through alternating layers of rock and ice on the steep face of the cliff.
