The primary goal of the Bank of Korea is price stability in South Korea. The Bank of Korea is the sole publisher of the South Korean won . The tasks of the Bank of Korea include developing and shaping the monetary and currency policy of South Korea, issuing the South Korean won, supervising the banking sector, guaranteeing functioning payment transactions in South Korea, and taking measures to stabilize the South Korean financial system.
