Banu Murra

The Banu Murra ( Arabic بنو مرة, DMG Banū Murra ) were a tribe in the Arab tribal union, the Ghatafan , in Najd , in the northeast of Yathrib (Medina) in the times of Muhammad .

It was narrated by the prophet biographer Ibn Ishaq that they took part in the trench battle against the Muslims of Medina under Harith ibn Naufal .
