The Baraolt Mountains (rum. Munții Baraolt ) is a low mountain range north of Brașov in a loop of the Olt and belongs to the Eastern Carpathians in the Transylvania region .

The largest town in the area is Sfântu Gheorghe , the highest peak of the Vârful Havad with 1019 m. The Baraolt Mountains are a popular hiking area.
