Baratol
Baratol is an explosive made of 25 to 33% TNT , barium nitrate and about 1% wax as a binding agent. The density is 2.5 g / cm³.
Properties and use
- Baratol has an explosion speed of about 4900 meters per second.
- Baratol was used, among other things, as a detonator in the Nagasaki atomic bomb .
