Barbarossastraße is located north of the old town center as a steep connection (with Staufenstraße) between Aachener and Viersener Straße. In its old inventory it is part of the historical expansion of Mönchengladbach.

architecture

House number 6 dates from the end of the 19th century. It stands on a steep hillside as part of a group of historic houses and shows 2: 3 axes and a developed roof . The eaves mansard roof originally had a central gable that has been converted into a dormer . Two more dormers on the side. This lower part of the roof is slated .
