Georgia Guillaume
Georgia Guillaume (* October 1975 in Innsbruck as Georgia Schultze ) is an Austrian journalist who since 1998 for the ORF reported.
Life
Georgia Schultze began an internship at the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation while studying political science at the University of Innsbruck . In 2005 she won the advancement award of the journalist award “ Die Spitze Feder ”. For her report Women as Goods she was the Austrian winner of the “Journalist Award of the European Year” in 2010, received the “ Radio Award of Adult Education Austria ” and the recognition award of the “ Prälat Leopold-Ungar-Journalistinnenpreis ”. In the Ö1-Journal-Panorama-Show, Schultze dedicates himself to the worldwide "lucrative" and inhuman trafficking in women .
Georgia Schultze was arrested by the secret service during a research trip to Chile in 2010. The authorities accused her of interviewing Mapuche during a demonstration .
Schultze worked for Caritas as a communicator in crisis and disaster areas.
In 2014 Georgia Schultze married the German actor Michel Guillaume . Georgia Guillaume has been reporting for ORF from Munich since then .
In 2018 Georgia Guillaume became vice world champion in kickboxing (full contact, -50 kg). She fights for the martial arts center Steko .
