Barber Motor Truck Corporation

The Barber Motor Truck Corporation was an American commercial vehicle manufacturer . The brand name was Barber .

The company was in 1917 in Brooklyn ( New York City founded). The only product was an unusual tractor with a tensile load of 12 t. The vehicle was of a Buda - four-cylinder engine is driven, the power transmission was typical of the time by means of worm gear ( worm drive ) on the rear axle. Because of the narrow track of only 24 inches (61 cm), a differential was unnecessary. The barber was a front-wheel drive and cost from US $ 2500.

Production was stopped in 1918.
