Barbershop Blend is the first German women's choir that can be stylistically assigned to barbershop singing.

It was founded in November 1984 by the conductor Liz Döhring and consists of 35 singing women. In addition to appearances in Germany, they gave concerts in the USA, Netherlands, Belgium, England and Wales.

The choir became champion of the 7th German Barbershop Festival on March 7, 2004 in Dortmund. At the previous 6 German Barbershop Festivals between 1993 and 2002, Barbershop Blend took 2nd place twice and 3rd place twice. They also successfully took part in the international conventions in Cardiff and Eindhoven in 1994, 2002 and 2005. Since March 2003 they can also call themselves the performance choir of the German Choir Association .
