Barcelona is an indie rock - trio from Seattle , Washington , consisting of Brian Fennell, Chris Bristol and Rhett Stone Lake.

history

After their formation in 2005, the band signed a promotion contract with MySpace Records and MySpace.com in 2007 . Absolutes , the group's first joint studio album, was released in September 2007 on the independent NBD Music label. The record received mostly positive reviews.

In 2008 the band signed a recording deal with Universal Motown . The label released Absolutes a second time in April 2009 - but without great commercial success. The song Please Don't Go finally appeared on the soundtrack to Francis Lawrence's Water for the Elephants in 2011 . In the same year, the German rapper Casper sampled the song Please Don't Go and released it on his album XOXO under the name Kontroll / Schlaf .
