The volcano Barchatnaja Sopka ( Russian Бархатная сопка ) is a chain of lava domes consisting of andesitic to rhyolite rock and is located along the Paratunka River northwest of the volcano Vilyuchinskaya Sopka on the Russian peninsula of Kamchatka . Most of the younger cinder cones are on the south and south-east sides of the cathedral complex.
