The Barisan Revolusi Nasional Melayu Patani , or Barisan Revolusi Nasional ( BRN ), English: "National Revolutionary Front", is a rebel group in North Malaysia and Patani, southern Thailand .

It was founded in 1963. Since 2017, it has been the strongest of these groups in the region.

Originally the BRN was founded as a broadly territorial organization. The BRN rebelled in southern Thailand and imposed extremely religious values on local society.

The BRN, through its paramilitary wing "Pejuang Kemerdekaan Patani", is the main group behind the killings of teachers in the southern border provinces.
