Barnberg Cave
Coordinates: 48 ° 32 ′ 35 ″ N , 9 ° 24 ′ 10 ″ E
The Barnberg Cave is a karst cave on the northern eaves of the Swabian Alb . It is located above the Albsteige Neuffen-Hülben around 2.4 kilometers southeast of Neuffen at 695 meters above sea level.
The cave is approx. 46 m long. A human skull was discovered in it, as well as artifacts from the Neolithic Age. It is protected as a geotope and under the name Barnberg cave with rock with the protected area number 811-60462903 as a natural monument.
