Baron Aberdare
Baron Aberdare , of Duffryn in the County of Glamorgan , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on August 23, 1873 for the British politician Henry Austin Bruce . He had been a member of the House of Commons and most recently Minister of the Interior for more than 20 years . After being raised to the nobility, he became Lord President of the Council .
