Viscount Allendale
Viscount Allendale , of Allendale and Hexham in the County of Northumberland , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award and subordinate titles
The title was created on July 5, 1911 for the liberal politician Wentworth Beaumont, 2nd Baron Allendale . In 1907 he had inherited the subordinate title of Baron Allendale , of Allendale and Hexham in the County of Northumberland, from his father , which was awarded to him on July 20, 1906.
