Baron Brabazon of Tara
Baron Brabazon of Tara , of Sandwich in the County of Kent , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created in 1942 for John Cuthbert Moore-Brabazon . He was a British aviation pioneer and conservative politician. He had been Minister for Aircraft Production in the Churchill Cabinet during World War II .
The family had been allowed to add the name Brabazon to the surname Moore in 1866 .
