Baron Burton is a hereditary British title of nobility conferred once in the Peerage of Great Britain and twice in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

For the first time on January 1, 1712 in the Peerage of Great Britain, the title Baron Burton , of Burton in the County of Stafford , was bestowed on the Hon. Henry Paget . In 1713 he inherited from his father the title 7th Baron Paget de Beaudesert, created in the Peerage of England on January 23, 1553, and on October 19, 1714 in the Peerage of Great Britain he was named Earl of Uxbridge , in the County of Middlesex, raised. The Earldom and the Barony of Burton became extinct on the death of his grandson, the 2nd Earl, in 1769, the Barony Paget inherited his second cousin, Henry Bayly , as the 9th Baron Paget.

In the second ceremony of the title was Baron Burton , of Rangemore and Burton-on-Trent in the County of Stafford, on 13 August 1886 in the Peerage of the United Kingdom for the brewer and liberal politician Sir Michael Bass, 1st Baronet recreated .
