Earl of Bindon
Earl of Bindon , in the County of Dorset , was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of England .
Award, subordinate and other titles
The title was created on December 30, 1706 for the House of Commons Henry Howard . Along with the dignity of Earls, he was given the subordinate title of Baron Chesterford , of Chesterford in the County of Essex . He was the eldest son of Henry Howard, 5th Earl of Suffolk , and inherited his father in 1709 as Earl of Suffolk and subordinate title. The Earldom Bindon and the Barony of Chesterford became extinct in 1722 on the death of his son, 2nd Earl Bindon. The title Earl of Suffolk and subordinate title fell to a brother of the 1st Earl of Bindon.
