National Highway 37 ( NH 37 ) is a major trunk road in northeast India with a length of 740 kilometers, which is an important link within the northeastern states . It begins in Goalpara in the state of Assam at the NH 31B and runs 720 km through the lowlands of the state, running parallel and south to the Brahmaputra River and passing the cities of Guwahati , Nagaon , Jorhat , Dibrugarh and Tinsukia . It finally ends after 20 km in the state of Arunachal Pradesh near Roing in the far northeast of India at NH 52 .
