The Delhi-Gurugram Expressway is an expressway in India that connects the state capital Delhi with the satellite city of Gurgaon .

The six- to eight-lane road is 17 miles long and is part of the NH-48 . The road begins at Dhaula Kuan near the Delhi cantonment and ends in Manesar southwest of Gurgaon. The Indira Gandhi International Airport is located on it , as well as many multinational and national companies and large residential areas in Gurgaon. The volume of traffic is particularly high in the morning and evening rush hours. The Delhi-Gurugram Expressway has 11 flyovers that are only used by fast-moving vehicles that can reach speeds of 80 to 100 km / h. Slow moving vehicles such as B. Auto rickshaws are not allowed on the toll lanes. Originally there were three toll booths: a six-lane at the airport, the 18-lane Kherki Daula tollbooth at the southwestern end of the expressway and a 32-lane tollbooth on the border between Delhi and Gurgaon. The latter was abolished in February 2014 by judicial order of the Delhi High Court .
