National Highway 28 ( NH 28 ) is a main highway in the north of the state of India with a length of 570 kilometers. It begins in the state of Uttar Pradesh in its capital Lucknow and after 311 km through this state leads another 259 km through the neighboring state of Bihar to Barauni at the NH 31 . In Gorakhpur the NH 28 crosses the NH 29 .
