National Highway 36 ( NH 36 ) is a major trunk road in northeast India with a length of 170 kilometers. It begins in Nagaon in the state of Assam at NH 37 and after 167 km through this state leads another 3 km through the neighboring state of Nagaland , where it ends its largest city, Dimapur, at NH 39 .
