National Highway 39 ( NH 39 ) is a major highway in northeast India with a length of 436 kilometers. It begins at Numaligarh in the state of Assam at NH 37 and after 115 km through this state leads a further 100 km through the neighboring state of Nagaland via its capital Kohima . It then leads 211 km through the state of Manipur via its capital Imphal and on to the border with Myanmar in the southeast of Manipur.
