National Highway 9 ( NH 9 ) is a major trunk road in the center of the state of India with a length of 841 kilometers. It crosses the Indian subcontinent roughly in the middle from west to east. It begins in Pune in the state of Maharashtra and leads via Solapur , Hyderabad and Vijayawada to Machilipatnam on the east coast in the state of Andhra Pradesh . In the capital of the state Telangana , formed in 2014 , Hyderabad, the NH 9 crosses with the NH 7 .
