National Highway 21 ( NH 21 ) is a major trunk road in northwestern India with a length of 323 kilometers. It begins in Chandigarh in the union territory of the same name on the NH 22 and after 24 km through this union territory leads a further 67 km through the neighboring state of Punjab . Finally it leads another 232 km through the state of Himachal Pradesh via Mandi to Manali . There the Manali-Leh-Highway joins, which continues north to Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh .
