National Highway 55 ( NH 55 ) is a main highway in the state of West Bengal in northeast India with a length of 77 kilometers. It starts in Shiliguri at NH 31 and leads over numerous serpentines to the touristically important city of Darjeeling at over 2,000 meters above sea level.
