Fellbach reflection trail

The Fellbach reflection path is a sculpture path in Fellbach in Baden-Württemberg . It begins on the edge of Fellbach's Oeffingen district and leads across fields and open countryside to a wooded area north of the county road in the direction of Hegnach .

Project description

In 1999 the Förderverein Reflection Trail Fellbach e. V. founded, whose partners are the churches of Fellbach and the city of Fellbach. Fellbach's former mayor Friedrich-Wilhelm Kiel is the patron of the project . The main idea of the project is to combine nature, art, religion and philosophy. There should be an artistic work at twelve places of reflection , which, with the enclosed quotations, will encourage you to linger and reflect.

The sponsoring association selects renowned, internationally known artists, together suitable locations are selected and biblical or literary quotations are discussed that will be incorporated into the planned sculpture.

Eight of the twelve places of reflection have been implemented. The others should be built in the next few years. The entire project is financed through events, donations and fundraising.
