Baron Colyton

Baron Colyton , of Farway in the County of Devon and of Taunton in the County of Somerset , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on January 19, 1956 for the diplomat and Conservative politician Henry Hopkinson .

The current title holder has been his grandson Alisdair Hopkinson as 2nd Baron since 1996 .
