Baron Dunfermline
Baron Dunfermline , of Dunfermline in the County of Fife , was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award and expiration
The title was created on June 7, 1839 for the Whig politician and former Speaker of the House of Commons , James Abercromby . The title expired on the death of his son, the 2nd Baron, on July 12, 1868.
