Baron Glenavy
Baron Glenavy , of Milltown in the County of Dublin , was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on July 26, 1921 for former MP Sir James Campbell, 1st Baronet , on the occasion of his retirement from the office of Lord Chancellor of Ireland . He had already been awarded the subordinate title Baronet , of Glenavy in the County of Antrim on January 10, 1917 in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom .
The titles expired when his grandson, the 4th Baron, died in June 1984 without any descendants.
