Baron Hindlip

Baron Hindlip , of Hindlip in the County of Worcester and of Alsop-en-le-Dale in the County of Derby , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The family seat of the barons was formerly Hindlip Hall near Worcester in Worcestershire, today the barons live in London .

Award

The title was created on February 16, 1886 for the brewery entrepreneur and Conservative House of Commons Sir Henry Allsopp, 1st Baronet . As early as May 7, 1880, he was given the subordinate title of Baronet , of Hindlip Hall in the Parish of Hindlip in the County of Worcester.

Today's title holder has been his great-great-grandson Charles Allsopp as 6th Baron since 1993 .
