Baron Killearn
Baron Killearn , of Killearn in the County of Stirling , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
The family seat of the barons is Little Sodbury Manor near Chipping Sodbury in South Gloucestershire .
Award
The title was created on May 17, 1943 for the diplomat Sir Miles Lampson .
His son, the 2nd baron, inherited on the death of his nephew of the second degree on August 28, 1971 also the subordinate title of 4th Baronet , of Rowfant in the Parish of Worth in the County of Sussex , who on November 16, 1866 in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom was given to the father of the 1st Baron.
