Baron Moran
Baron Moran , of Manton in the County of Wiltshire , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was awarded to the medic Charles McMoran Wilson on March 8, 1943 . He was the personal physician of the British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and had treated him when he was sick with life-threatening pneumonia. In addition, since 1941 he was President of the Royal College of Physicians.
