Baron Rochester

Baron Rochester , of Rochester in the County of Kent , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was bestowed on the politician Sir Ernest Henry Lamb on January 23, 1931 . He served as Paymaster General from 1931 to 1935 . In 1955 his eldest son inherited him as 2nd baron.

Probable heir apparent is the older son of the current owner, the Hon. David Charles Lamb (* 1944).
