Baron Sackville
Baron Sackville , of Knole in the County of Kent , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on October 2, 1876 for the Hon. Mortimer Sackville-West , fourth son of the 5th Earl De La Warr . The award was made with the special addition that, in the absence of male descendants, the title could also be inherited by his younger brothers Hon. Lionel Sackville-West and Hon. William Edward Sackville-West and their male descendants.
Today's title holder is his descendant Robert Sackville-West as the 7th Baron.
